San mai is a Japanese sword making technique that allows for a hard steel core that stays sharp and the softer jacket either side allowing for some flexibility. Cumai is a name given to sanmai knives using copper
the handle is made of bulloake timber with copper and G10 spacers
Blade length is 160 mm (6 1/4 inches) and its 40 mm deep at the heel. overall length is 320 mm . the spine is 1.8 mm wide near the handle with a distal taper to less than 1mm near the tip . Weight is about 120 gm nice balance
