A unique hand forged santoku style chef knife. Crafted from a recycled sawmill blade with a full tang tea tree timber handle with copper pins

The blade is 170 mm ( 6 ¾ inches) long and 51 mm wide at the heel . Overall length is 300 mm. Handle is 130mm long, 20mm wide and 23mm deep . nice balance 3 mm wide along the spine at the handle tapering to 1 mm near the tip , about 180 gm.

Please read the care instruction page before purchase. Being made from old saws this is carbon steel ( AKA black steel) , not stainless steel so will tarnish and develop a patina with time and may rust if not cared for. Thank you.
