A unique hand forged santoku style chef knife. Crafted from a recycled sawmill blade with a full tang red gum timber handle with stainless steel pins

The blade is 160 mm ( 6 1/4 inches) long and 49 mm wide at the heel . Overall length is 290 mm , nice balance 2.7 mm wide along the spine at the handle tapering to 1 mm near the tip , about 175 gm.

Please read the care instruction page before purchase. Being made from old saws this is carbon steel ( AKA black steel) , not stainless steel so will tarnish and develop a patina with time and may rust if not cared for. Thank you.
