A unique hand forged chef knife. Crafted from a recycled sawmill blade with a full tang blackbean timber handle with stainless steel pins

The blade is 170 mm ( 6 ½ inches) long and 45 mm wide at the heel . Overall length is 300 mm . Handle is 135 mm long, 20 mm wide and 22mm deep . nice balance 2.8 mm wide along the spine at the handle tapering to 1 mm near the tip , about 155 gm.

Please read the care instruction page before purchase. Being made from old saws this is carbon steel ( AKA black steel) , not stainless steel so will tarnish and develop a patina with time and may rust if not cared for. Thank you.
