A unique hand forged chef knife. Crafted from a recycled sawmill blade with a full tang jam tree timber handle with brass pins

The blade is 240 mm ( 9 ¼ inches) long and 50 mm wide at the heel . Overall length is 370 mm , nice balance 3.4 mm wide along the spine at the handle tapering to under 1 mm near the tip , about 233 gm. Handle is 140 mm long, 22 mm wide, 24mm deep

Please read the care instruction page before purchase. Being made from old saws this is carbon steel ( AKA black steel) , not stainless steel so will tarnish and develop a patina with time and may rust if not cared for. Thank you.
