A hand forged Damascus steel chef knife . The Damascus is 60 layers of 1084 and 15n20 . The full tang handle is made from black wood timber with stainless steel pins

The blade length is 180 mm (7 inches) long 45 mm wide at the heel . Handle is 140mm long , a slim 18mm wide and 22mm deep - would suit a smaller hand. Overall length is 310 mm , 2.6 mm wide along the spine at the handle tapering quickly to under 1mm near the tip , about 160 gm and a nice balance.
