A unique hand forged santoku style chef knife. Crafted from a recycled sawmill blade with a full tang tea tree timber handle with brass pins

The blade is 165 mm ( 6 ½ inches) long and 50 mm wide at the heel . Overall length is 300 mm , nice balance 2.6 mm wide along the spine at the handle tapering to under 1 mm near the tip , about 176 gm. Handle is 140mm long, 20.5 mm wide, 23mm deep

Please read the care instruction page before purchase. Being made from old saws this is carbon steel ( AKA black steel) , not stainless steel so will tarnish and develop a patina with time and may rust if not cared for. Thank you.
