A unique hand forged chef knife. Crafted from a recycled sawmill blade with a full tang jam tree timber handle with brass pins

The blade is 203 mm ( 8 inches) long and 49 mm wide at the heel . Overall length is 330 mm , nice balance 3.3 mm wide along the spine at the handle tapering to under 1 mm near the tip , about 200 gm. Handle is 135mm long, 20 mm wide, 23mm deep

Please read the care instruction page before purchase. Being made from old saws this is carbon steel ( AKA black steel) , not stainless steel so will tarnish and develop a patina with time and may rust if not cared for. Thank you.
