A unique hand forged chef knife. Crafted from a recycled sawmill blade with a full tang black wood timber handle with copper pins

The blade is 170 mm ( 6 3/4 inches) long and 45 mm wide at the heel . Overall length is 295 mm , nice balance 3.6 mm wide along the spine at the handle tapering to under 1 mm near the tip , about 160 gm. Handle is 130mm long, 22mm wide, 23mm deep

Please read the care instruction page before purchase. Being made from old saws this is carbon steel ( AKA black steel) , not stainless steel so will tarnish and develop a patina with time and may rust if not cared for. Thank you.
