A unique hand forged chef knife. Crafted from a recycled sawmill blade with a hidden tang octagonal blackbutt timber handle with stainless steel and G10 spacers

The blade is 195 mm ( 7 ¾ inches) long and 45 mm wide at the heel . Overall length is 360 mm , nice balance 2.7 mm wide along the spine at the handle tapering to under 1 mm near the tip , about 170 gm. Handle is 145mm long, 20 mm wide, 26mm deep

Please read the care instruction page before purchase. Being made from old saws this is carbon steel ( AKA black steel) , not stainless steel so will tarnish and develop a patina with time and may rust if not cared for. Thank you.
